I've not imagined such happening at all. However 'Namco' started selling  'Downloadable Casual Game for PC', under the name of 'Namco Networks'.

As you can see from homepage, they are selling classic [Dig Dug] & [Pacman], and [Star Trigon] which was released for Arcade only long ago & now converted for PC & iphone. That's not the end. [Burgertime Deluxe] (Sequel of [Burgertime]?)1, and all new game [Everything Nice]. For [EN], Namco seems to be just distributing, but that's more exciting.

Of course, even Square Enix / Capcom / Atlus distbiruted Casual game at Steam. But they didn't make such sub-brand & homepage. And the best (or most entertaining) thing is, they use 'Plimus' for checkout. Yes. We could do affiliate it. :)

P.S. : 'Namconetworks' is for PC / Mobile / iPhone, however.

P.S. 2 : So... Where's [Mr. Driller]? :)

Footnote.
  1. According to Wikipedia, [Burgertime] was made by Date East. After Data East became bankrupt, G-mode owns IP for that. Not sure what's the deal, anyway seems to be real related one. [Back]
